The new Foodworks supermarket in Casterton has achieved a high level of Client and Architect satisfaction; so much so that this supermarket has been praised as the model which all future Foodworks supermarkets will be based. An attractive street facade boasting bright orange entry statements has become a highlight of the main street of Casterton. The exterior is a preview to the bright, vibrant & cheery interior. 

The project uses environmentally sustainable principals, in particular a waste heat reclaim system utilises heat generated by the refrigeration plant for store heating, and the spilt cold air from the refrigeration cases for store cooling. This eliminates the need for air conditioning; a significant reduction in energy use.
