ESD driven, this recent development in Coonawarra heartland presents a smart yet humble presence for the Yalumba Wine Company set amongst remnant vegetation and the oenological envelope. 

Rammed earth, zincalume and timber combine to form a pavilion-style facility accommodating wine tasting, permanent exhibitions and a residential retreat. Evaporative cooling, thermal massing, wind power and passive thermal control are amongst the ESD principles utilized in the design.
